HOKA Messilä Vertical

HOKA Messilä Vertical is a unique race where participants compete to accumulate the most elevation meters within a given time. The race takes place at Messilä Ski Resort in Hollola, and participants run a 1.2 km course with approximately 90 meters of ascent and descent per lap. The competition has three categories with durations of 1, 2, or 4 hours, and the winner is the one who completes the most laps in their category. The event is open to all ages, and the atmosphere is relaxed yet challenging, suitable for both beginners and experienced runners.

At the competition center, there is a hydration station and an official support area where competitors can have their own supporter. Messilä Hotel's sauna is available for competitors from 11:00 to 15:00 after the race for relaxation. A rough-textured trail or spiked shoes are recommended, especially in wet conditions. There is no minimum or maximum age limit for participation. The event is held at Messilä Ski Resort and includes access to sauna and dining options after the race. The race is aimed at mountain sports and trail running enthusiasts who want to challenge themselves with elevation changes.
