Race description
Kullervo Marathon 2026 will be held at Joutsenon Sports Center on Sunday, September 20, 2026. The event is traditional and offers Finland's fastest marathon route, which is almost completely asphalted and flat. The competition includes a marathon, half marathon, 10 km, and a children's mini marathon, making it suitable for runners of all levels. The route is well marked and there are enough aid stations. Participants will receive route support, a medal, coffee, a bun, and a hot meal at the race restaurant.

Additional information
Race office is located at Joutsenohalli and is open on Saturday, September 19 from 17:00 to 19:00 and on Sunday, September 20 from 8:30 to 17:00. Race numbers are picked up from the race office. The maximum time to complete the marathon is 6 hours; there is no time limit for the half marathon and 10 km. Changing rooms, showers, and toilets are available at Joutsenohalli. Free supervised baggage storage is available next to the race office. Late registration is possible at the race office on Saturday, September 19 from 17:00 to 19:00 and on Sunday, September 20 from 8:30, ending one hour before the start of each race. Payment at the race office is only by card or MobilePay. Participation can be transferred to the next year with a health certificate or to another person no later than September 17, 2026. Registration is online, and the participation fee includes route support, a medal, coffee, a bun, and a hot meal. The marathon is intended for participants over 18 years old, and no pre-registration is required for the children's mini marathon. On race day, late registration and the possibility to transfer participation to another year with a health certificate are also available.
