The Lappeenranta Half is a unique sporting event that brings together two traditional sports clubs from Lappeenranta. The competition offers runners the opportunity to experience the beautiful landscapes and unique atmosphere of Lappeenranta while pushing themselves and aiming for their personal bests on Lappeenranta's fastest and most stunning route set against the backdrop of Lake Saimaa. The event will take place on August 31, 2025, at the Lappeenranta Harbor Square, featuring a half marathon, a 10 km race, and a Hippo mini marathon for children.
