On the first Saturday of July, the Toukola Run will take place in the scenic surroundings of Makkola in Kangasniemi, with the starting point at the village house Toukola, right along the Mikkeli-Jyväskylä road. The Toukola Run is open to everyone, whether experienced runners or beginners. The routes will take participants through the beautiful landscapes around Lake Iso Siikajärvi, and prizes will be awarded to the best in each category, along with an award for the best outfit. The village house will have a summer café and a flea market open from 11 AM to 5 PM, as well as changing facilities and the opportunity to wash up at a nearby swimming beach.
Highlights
- The Toukola jog can be participated in as seriously as one wishes – the route hugging the shores of Siikajärvi accommodates both seasoned Kaleva race participants and those just starting out in running.
- Prizes will be awarded to the best in each category, and there will also be an award for the best outfit!
