The Western Village Trail Run will be held for the sixth time on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the Västerby outdoor area in Raseborg, Western Uusimaa. The race stages are the 5km Hare route, 10km Fox route, 25km Raven route, and 50km. The course starts north on wide trails and gravel roads, continuing on a pleasant trail surface towards the Sköldargården potholes. Runners will enjoy beautiful paths and stunning scenery throughout the journey.
Highlights
- The route starts heading north on wide paths and dirt roads, continuing on a pleasant trail surface as you approach the Sköldargården giant's kettles.
- The route now winds through magnificent trails, passing through the Troll Forest, along the shoreline of Grabbskog Storträsket, past a viewpoint, a lean-to, and a toilet.
- The last kilometers before the finish are run on perfect trails and a dirt track back to the sports center, where the final challenge is brand new fitness stairs.
