Nummela BackYard Ultra

Nummela Backyard Ultra is an ultramarathon event where competitors run 6.706-kilometer lapses within an hour for as long as multiple runners are able to continue. The race is unique because it has no predetermined end time or distance, and the winner is the one who completes one more lap than the others. The event is held at Polku Hotel in Vihti and offers a challenge for runners who value endurance and stamina. The race has its roots in the United States and is also known as "Just one more Loop."

The race uses a starting bell that rings every hour. Runners must stay within a designated area when the bell rings. Timing can be done on paper or electronically, with timing services provided by Juha Seppälä (info@nubu.fi). The race ends when only one runner completes a lap within the one-hour time limit. The event is held at Polku Hotel in Vihti and includes the opportunity to participate in an ultramarathon and track runners' progress via GPS.
